Registered surname(s): Custer on April 1, 2007
Comments: My name is Robert A. Custer. I live in North Myrtle Beach S.C. I have been researching my family history and came to a problem. My grandfather Samuel W. Custer, according to his death cert. his father was Morris B. Custer or Morris V. Custer, I found it both ways on census, b.1849.Morris father, my great great grandfather was Solomon L Custer of Amity twp.,Berks cty.a farmer. I also have S.L. Custer as a Pa. state Rep. 1859 to 1860. The problem that I have is that I'am finding two Morris Custers from Berks Cty. b.1849. Any info. on this would be helpful.
